IT STARTED IN A SHED
Climbing Anchors has supplied Australia with climbing hardware since 2004.
Starting out in sheds nestled within Newcastle and Sydney, Steve Hawkshaw and Trent Lee bent bolts and sourced glue to supply the community with ‘climbing anchors’ – hence the name.
From these humble beginnings emerged an online business that sources quality and affordable gear to climbers all over Australia (and now from a larger shed in Regents Park, NSW).
As a small business, we love connecting with like-minded climbers and outdoor enthusiasts. We have retail stores in Alexandria (NSW) and Fitzroy (VIC), as well as mini stores in 9 Degrees Lane Cove & Waterloo, to help you access the huge range of climbing gear we supply.
We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, not just on the gear we sell but also advice on products, climbing, bouldering, slacklining, canyoning, mountaineering, ice climbing, caving and more.
We also strongly believe in maintaining a healthy and sustainable climbing culture throughout Australia.
