WALK: Brummies Lookout Wollumbin NP Tyalgum Weekend 11km Grade 4 FULLY BOOKED

This is one Event of many to be held over three days based at Tyalgum. Register for camping and other activities separately.

Click here for the meeting point near the playground & toilets in Tyalgum village where we will carpool to the start of the walk which starts at the boundary of the National Park, on Tyalgum Ridge Rd.

From here, the walk up to Brummies lookout comprises a 3km walk, through various forest types, on a fire trail & then a short, steeper walk on an obscure & rough track to the edge of a cliff face with attendant fantastic views of the south-west face of Wollumbin, Mt Warning and the surrounding National Park. The elevation gain for this walk is about 350m. After lunch, we will retrace our steps back to the start, with a short detour via an old walking track (Amaroo Walk), that passes through an area that was once the Amaroo Flora Reserve.
