Michael Howes, who has beekeeping rights to the property between Tyagarah airport and the beach, will co-lead the walk with Brian. The walk starts near the airport on Old Brunswick Road. There is an interesting mix of vegetation from tea tree covered sand hills to a red soil ridge. After the walk an inspection of the honey processing areas and a cuppa – finishing around 11. We will also learn some history of the airport, and it’s drug running foundation.
