WALK: Wilson's Track and Riverbank Lismore 8km Grade 3

This popular event, led by Jenny Dowell, is being repeated monthly for a trial period. 

Click here for the meeting spot at 7.45am for an 8:00am start in the small parking area on the bend of Amaroo Place (off Barham Street) in East Lismore above Lismore Golf Course.

The walk skirts the golf club over Girards Hill and down to Wilson’s River towards Lismore and back. There is a water refill station at the halfway mark, no toilets.

We detour at the top of the hill on the return leg for morning tea at Robinson’s Lookout (byo refreshments).

The track is rough in parts with some steep sections. After rain, the grass can be wet and there may be small muddy sections. 

Half the walk is on well-made cement or bitumen paths. 

Members must register for themselves (i.e. only one person) on Member Jungle.
