WALK: AMENDED DATE Terania Creek Basin Highlights 8km Grade 4/5

We will explore some of the sights and exquisite environment of the famous Terania Creek basin. Scoping out recent flood damage upstream to Circle Pool. Ascend Devils Teeth area (optional scramble to top), all off-track and dropping north into the Gracies Creek basin, exploring the main creek. Possible camp cave detour and return to Circle Pool, possibly falling into the creek accidentally here. We will likely walk to Protesters Falls base on returning to the cars.

Some exploratory sections, on and off track, creek walking, rock-hopping, minor scrambling. Click here to see a map with the route.

No cancellation if it rains. Limit 15. Return at approximately 5pm to cars at Terania. Bring morning tea and lunch, plus essentials such as first-aid.
