WALK: CANCELLED Mount Chowan Summit Track 15km Grade 4

Mount Chowan Summit Track is an out and back trail located near Smiths Creek with views of Wollumbin and surrounds. It follows the North Chowan Fire Trail from Smiths Creek Rd towards the peak of Mt Chowan. Morning tea will be at the end of the fire trail and below the summit. After morning tea, we will climb to the summit (on the trail but it is a steep scramble), and continue to explore the track towards South Chowan Rd, returning when the track ends or our round trip exceeds 15km.

There is an option of not walking beyond the end of the fire trail and instead exploring up an intersecting fire trail (Baratta Rd). It is 12km to complete Barratta and Mt Chowan Rds.
