WALK: Tallow Beach and Arakwal NP Trail 8km Grade 2
The walk will start and finish at Tallow Beach carpark.
This is a scenic walk in Byron Bay, about an hour's drive from the NSW/Queensland border. The walk begins with a sandy 3km stroll down Tallow Beach before taking a right-hand turn to cross a little bridge over Tallow Creek. You will enter the Arakwal National Park Trail exploring a mix of Coastal Heath and residential roads, finishing back at the Tallow Beach carpark.
Bring with you the usual sun protection, water, morning tea and maybe some mozzie repellent to be on the safe side.
There are a couple of Cafes nearby, should members wish to have lunch after the walk.
